Ute Reservation Pow Wow (2016)
Photo Documentary
In 2014 I was enlisted by the Humanities in Focus program to create an in-depth photo essay/documentary about the the efforts they were making within the community. I was embedded within the group for several months, taking photographs, conducting interviews and learning the story from the inside. This was one of several photo documentaries I have conducted and definitely the most moving for me as a journalist. The photos, layout, design and interviews were all done personally.
